Treat any obvious, simple cause for cervical lymphadenopathy. Consider anaemia.

The following should be referred directly as Two Week Wait:

• Unexplained mouth ulcer > three weeks
• Unexplained oral mass > three weeks
• Other unexplained persistent oral lesions
